Roller blinds can be operated in three ways. The most common is a friction chain on the side of the blind — smooth, quiet, and supplied with a child safety catch as standard on every install. Spring-operated blinds use a simple pull tab or cord at the base of the fabric, with no dangling chains at all. And for anyone who wants the touch-of-a-button option, our roller blinds can be motorised — either mains-wired or rechargeable, the latter being our most popular choice because it needs no electrician and typically holds a full year’s charge in a standard window size.

Inside or outside the recess,and easy to live with.

Roller blinds mount inside your window recess for a clean, tucked-in look, or outside the recess when you want the fabric to fully cover the frame and drop past the sill. Because there’s no complex mechanism — just fabric and a tube — they’re the easiest blind in our range to maintain: a wipe with a damp cloth is usually enough. They fit almost any window we’ve come across, from narrow bathroom openings up to large expanses of glazing, and because they’re so slim, they layer beautifully with curtains for rooms that need both softness and light control.
