An outdoor awning turns the space just outside your back door into another room of the house — one you can actually use for six or seven months of the year, not the three the Irish summer strictly allows. Our motorised retractable awnings extend at the touch of a button when the sun comes out, tuck cleanly away when it doesn’t, and can be sized to fit patios, terraces, balconies and shopfronts. Every awning is templated, supplied and fitted by our own team across Dublin — and because they mount to your existing wall, there’s no groundworks, no planning permission and no long install.

Our retractable awnings use a folding-arm mechanism that hides completely into a slim cassette when not in use. Press the button and the arms extend to full projection in under thirty seconds — enough to shade a full dining set, a lounge area or a wide shopfront. When retracted, the fabric and arms tuck neatly back into the cassette, protected from weather and out of sight. We template each installation in person to make sure the projection, wall fixings and drop are all right for your space.
MOTORISED & SENSORS
Sun sensors, wind sensors,and one clever remote.
Every awning we fit is motorised as standard — controlled from a wall switch, remote or your smart home app. Add optional wind and sun sensors and the awning takes care of itself: extending automatically when the sun appears, and retracting instantly if wind speeds rise above the threshold you set. It’s the kind of touch that protects your investment on the days you’re not home to bring it in yourself — which, given Irish weather, is most of them.
FABRIC
UV-blocked, water-resistant,and colour-fast for years.
The fabric is where an awning either lasts or fades. We use premium acrylic canvas from Sunbrella and equivalent mills — solution-dyed so the colour runs all the way through the fibre, not just on the surface. That means no fading in the sun and no streaking after rain. UV block is up to 98%, and the fabric shrugs off light showers — perfect for the sudden ten-minute downpour that follows a sunny Dublin afternoon. Choose from hundreds of colours, plains and stripes, with optional valance detailing along the front bar.

An awning is the starting point — the extras are what turn a patio into a room you actually use. Integrated LED strip lighting along the front bar extends your evenings into the garden. Infrared heaters mounted on the cassette or wall take the chill off spring and autumn nights. Drop-down side screens block low sun and neighbours’ sightlines. With the full set, you gain roughly two extra months of usable outdoor time each year — which, for a Dublin garden, is worth a lot.
